Job Description

 An opening has arisen for an experienced accounts payable supervisor or manager with  proven transaction processing experience in a large, complex international environment to join a fast paced, global business. You will also be a competent leader of medium sized teams and be able to demonstrate strong leadership and team development ability.

 The role is varied and complex and will have significant exposure to internal and external stakeholders, suppliers in both Europe and the UK as well as constant liaison with all areas of the operation.  Confident communication skills and the ability to forge strong relationships with finance and non finance personnel at all levels is essential as you will be required to attend to regular face to face meetings as a representative of the organisation. You will also possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in a high volume, complex environment and be extremely process & procedure driven.

 A high level of computer literacy is required along with advanced Excel skills.

 Duties include:

Maximise cash flow efficiencies through regular payment swaps for European Transactions and ensuring suppliers are paid to terms.

Timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices on each AP ledger using different financial systems

Processing of supplier BACS and cheque payment runs for multiple businesses, each on its own unique system and according to contracted payment terms

Month end review of aged creditors listing with focus on resolving aged balances, unallocated cash and debit balances.

Completion of regular KPI reporting Senior Management team, to measure team efficiency.

Manage all staff related issues including recruitment, training, and succession planning.
