Our client, a market leading private equity backed, third sector organisation, is currently looking to recruit an Assistant Finance Manager on a permanent basis. The role will report directly to the Group Finance Director and work closely with the senior leadership team. The business is around £70m turnover and continues to operate on an acquisitive basis.
Key aspects of the role include; team management of four staff with finance transaction responsibility, ownership of month end process including P&L and balance sheet, preparation of management accounts, assisting with statutory accounts and annual audit, and preparation of VAT returns.
The hiring manager is looking for someone with a proven track record in a financial accounting capacity, strong interpersonal skills, a flexible approach and the ability to maintain attention to detail in a high-volume transaction capacity.
