Audit Senior

The Role 

My client, a well-established practice in Surrey is going through a period of unprecedented growth and seeks to complement its audit team with a newly, or nearly, qualified chartered accountant with previous audit & assurance exposure gained in a mid-sized firm.
 
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will join our thriving audit team in Surrey, reporting directly to an Audit Manager.
Responsible for leading of audit assignments from planning through to completion. 
Reviewing the work of junior colleagues as well as coaching and supporting them in their development. 
Utilising a range of technological solutions in addition to strong people skills to deliver a quality service, on time and on budget.
Working in collaboration with the wider audit team.

Successful Applicant

ACCA/ACA nearly or newly qualified
Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, auditing & financial reporting standards.
Experience in planning and leading audit engagements 
Excellent attention to detail, organisational and presentational skills
Strong time management skills with a proven ability to prioritise workload 
Confident communicator, able to liaise with clients at different levels of accounting knowledge
Strong Excel skills
