Job Description

The Role 

A brand new role with succession planning in mind, you will be reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Controlling, you will be joining a well-respected and trusted business function operating at the heart of the company driven by an engaged a passionate team, efficiently providing accurate and insightful financial information with robust governance and challenge.
 
Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning
Working with the Senior Manager, Financial Controlling and Accounting, manage the preparation, review and submission of company’s annual financial budget, revised monthly forecast and 3 Year Business Plan
Financial Reporting
Submission of monthly management accounts to parent company for 2 well-known brands, together with analysis of variances to budget / forecast
Compilation and presentation of internal management reporting information to key stakeholders 
Financial Controlling
Business Partner to Go To Market team, with monthly meetings to control a significant budget including balance sheet reconciliation
Business Partner to a number of internal departments, helping them to control their departmental budgets. Lead quarterly stakeholder reviews of departmental budgets
Business Partner to Product team to ensure all aspects of product pricing are accurately reflected and accounted for, including preparation of product profitability data
Ad Hoc
Support with the daily banking and treasury, working with the SSC
Leadership
Line manager to the Finance Placement Student

Successful Applicant

Graduate with recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) - essential
Strong management accountancy skills will include extensive experience in budgeting & forecasting
Proven experience in finance business partnering with previous exposure to key stakeholders - essential
At least Intermediate Excel skills - essential
Proven project management skills having managed a variety from projects from planning to completion over varying length of deadline
Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to present, gain consensus and influence key stakeholders
Motivated by change and innovation
Knowledge of Oracle Financials
Knowledge of Power BI
