My client, a brand name, global business, is currently looking for a Financial Accounting Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This is a retail led product business operating in a number of countries. The organisation is complex and the finance team is always busy. They approach their roles with alacrity in an extremely collaborative environment.
Key elements of the role include; the consolidation of financial information on a monthly basis comparing actual to budget/forecast in conjunction with the budget holders. Forecast analysis of aforementioned budgets and project accounting. Full ownership of the balance sheet and P&L, exposure to payroll related accounting would be useful as would the ability to present and drive budget meetings with non-finance stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA Qualified with current relevant experience in a technical financial accounting capacity. SAP and strong Excel skills are a must along with a collaborative approach and strong communication skills.
