The Role
The FP&A and Performance Reporting Analyst will report directly to the BU Head of Finance and support the delivery of weekly/monthly performance reporting, quarterly forecasting, annual planning & ad-hoc business analysis. This role offers lots of variety, breadth of exposure and significant scope for personal and professional development.
The successful candidate will be someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast paced, dynamic working environment. They will be expected to work closely with Group Analytics and Finance teams to drive improvements in reporting quality, efficiency, depth and insight.
The successful candidate will be someone who is confident with data analytics and systems, has good attention to detail and enjoys finding pragmatic solutions, process efficiencies and new insights which can add value to an organisation. They will need to be able to demonstrate previous success in driving data > implications > insights > action.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the weekly/monthly business performance reporting processes. Work closely with the business to ensure delivery of accurate and insightful reporting to the BU Senior Leadership Team and other senior stakeholders in a timely, efficient and effective manner
- Support to development of the BU annual budget and quarterly reforecasts, including inputs, process and outputs
- Driving improvement in financial processes and systems that support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting – across P&L, capex & working capital
- Drive new/enhanced performance analytics and reporting dashboard, using systems such as Tableau, to enrich business insight – trends, product/sector breakdown, regional/customer breakdown, etc
- Provide ad-hoc project support to priority BU & Group Finance initiatives

Successful Applicant
- Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA) or equivalent
- 3 years+ in a financial planning, analysis or business partnering role
- Experience of supporting strong revenue growth (sales, marketing etc.)
- Strong reporting and data analytics skills
- Strong business & commercial acumen
- Personable, with a strong commitment to team outcomes
- Able to get up to speed quickly and operate effectively in a dynamic, fast moving, and demanding environment
- Results driven and process-oriented, and able to evidence strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
- Confident in MS Excel techniques (report building, analytics, pivot tables etc)
- Experience is using data analytics tools such as Business Objects, Tableau or Workday Adaptive Insights
