A South West London based media business is currently looking for a Finance Manager to join them on an interim basis. This is a short-term assignment to assist with the final phase of an accounting system migration and integration. Candidates applying should be on no more than one weeks’ notice, ideally immediately available and have had experience of end to end (bar transaction level) accounting using Sage Accounts and Quickbooks. Experience of the latter accounting package is essential.
You will be working with a small but organised team of three and will take responsibility for the following; supervision of an experienced accounts assistant, involvement in the budget setting process, journal preparation, posting and reconciliation of accounts up to trial balance, production of monthly management accounts taking full ownership of the P&L and balance sheet producing subsequent analysis, cash flow forecast, month end close and reporting, all HMRC related payments and returns, liaison with external accountants as appropriate.
This is a fantastic, upbeat, and growing business in need of experienced and organised accounting support. You will have excellent systems skills as previously mentioned including advanced Excel and a proven track record at qualified level in a similar capacity.
