Premium Credit is the UK and Ireland’s number one premium credit company with over 1.8 million customers and 300 staff. Working closely with the Finance Manager and Chief Accounting Officer, this position had a focus on monthly reporting, implementing a new accounting system and developing junior staff. The brief required a qualified accountant with a track record of adding value as a strong all round accountant. Duties include; management accounting, commercial analysis and financial accounting.

It was clear from the brief that candidates needed to be the right cultural fit, whilst displaying the capability to hit the ground running from day one. A qualified yet versatile accountant was essential due to the role being so much more than a standard management accountant position. A strong grasp of accounting packages was also a necessity due to the upcoming systems implementation that the successful candidate would be involved in.
